Ada,MN -- It’s been a whirlwind of emotion for members of law enforcement across the country. Ada Police Chief Jody Bueng reaffirmed that statement when joining KRJB for his monthly chat on the Kaleidoscope Program on Tuesday. Chief Bueng said with everything going on in the Twin Cities and the death of a fellow officer in the line of duty, it’s been a very challenging time and even they are not immune to the effects of those situations in rural Minnesota.

Bueng adds that a very hurtful part of the George Floyd murder and riots was that it appeared law enforcement as a whole had lost support from leaders across the state.

One of the aftereffects of the distrust towards law enforcement from the public is that it is going to make it even more difficult to recruit future officers into a career field that is already stretched thin.
