Hillsboro, ND -- While the exact details of what school will look like this fall in Hillsboro are still being hashed out, class is still scheduled to be starting in just a few weeks from now. So with that approaching, the time has now come for high school students to get registered. The registration process, which begins Tuesday with Seniors, will be a little bit different, however. The biggest change, according to Hillsboro High School Principal Terry Baesler, is that they will be continuing the trend of social distancing by doing the registration outside.
Seniors will begin the registration process on Tuesday, followed by Juniors on Wednesday, Sophomores on Thursday, and Freshman on Friday. Exact times for each student are being emailed to their school gmail account.
Baesler notes that as of now, the Hillsboro School District is planning to return students to the classroom like usual, but things could change if the coronavirus continues to worsen.
The Hillsboro School District has sent out their Return to Learn Plan Draft to parents via email as well. They have scheduled a Zoom webinar for this Wednesday, August 5th at 7pm for parents to ask questions and give input.
