Community Input Needed for Halstad Comprehensive Plan

Halstad, MN -- The City of Halstad and the Northwest Regional Development Commission are working together to develop a city comprehensive plan. The comprehensive plan acts as a written document of the community’s vision for the future. The Planning Commission, which is overseeing the comprehensive plan, has now begun the process of seeking public input for plan. Halstad residents should be receiving a survey in the mail, where Danielle Harless of the Halstad Planning Commission says the public can provide valuable input towards the future of the city.
One of the big topics around the city of Halstad is the future of the former NCW High School building. Harless notes that the subject is included in the comprehensive plan as well.
Harless talks about the next steps for the Planning Commission once the public input portion is complete.
The Halstad Community Survey is also available online on the city website, www.halstad.com.
