Fosston, MN -- If you are looking for some family fun activity to be a part of, an outdoor concert with Mike Rendahl this Friday at the East Polk Heritage Center Grounds in Fosston might be just the activity you're looking for. The Fosston native found his passion for music in the fields and forests that surrounded his Northern Minnesota home. He released his premier album "About Time" in January on all music streaming platforms.

The Fosston Community Library and Arts Association (FCLAA) is putting on the concert. Bonnie Stewart of the FCLAA says this will be a good way to ease back into live events.

Prior to the concert on Friday, Bigfoot BBQ from Grand Forks will be set up at the East Polk Heritage Center Grounds from 2 until 6:30 P.M.. giving concert goers the opportunity to grab a bite to eat before listening to Rendahl and his music that Stewart best describes as, "music from the heart."

A passionate musician, Rendahl says, "When I sing and play, I feel like I go to a completely different place. Nothing in my life has felt more honest and true."

The concert begins at 6:30 P.M. this Friday. Tickets are available at www.fclaa.org. Costs are $10 for adults and $5 for students and children 5 and under are free. The concert will follow covid-19 pandemic guidelines. Limited seating will be available and spaces for chairs will be marked. FCLAA asks that you bring your own lawn chairs or blankets. Picnic table seating will be available to accommodate dinners as well.
