Mahnomen County First Responder Appreciation Feed
The 1st annual Mahnomen County First Responder Appreciation Feed with be held on Thursday, August 17th at the Mahnomen Fire Hall with two meal times, from 11 am to 2 pm and from 4 to 8 pm. The event organized by the Mahnomen County FFA chapter to honor and show appreciation to all first responders including law enforcement, firefighter and EMS personnel whose service and sacrifice keep the community secure. Lindsey Thompson is the Mahnomen FFA Chapter Secretary.
The cost for the Mahnomen County First Responder Appreciation Feed is $5.00 per person with all proceeds going to the Mahnomen County Volunteer Fire Department. Mahnomen Fire Chief Brian Ose says their volunteer fire department typically responds to 40 to 50 calls per year. They are on call 24 hours a day to respond to any emergency that arises.
The menu for the Mahnomen County First Responder Appreciation Feed includes hamburgers or polish sausage, baked beans, chips, and pop, water or coffee. The cost is only $5.00 for the meal which will be served from 11 to 2 and from 4 to 8 pm on Thursday, August 17th at Mahnomen Fire Hall on South Main Street in Mahnomen.
Come out and show your appreciation for the 161 1st responders including law enforcement, firefighters and EMS personnel who serve Mahnomen County.
