Nord's Pharmacy Offering Free Vitamins for Kids
By Mark Askelson (12/5/17)
Fosston, MN -- Although it doesn’t make it easier for parents to make their children take them, a local pharmacy is doing their best to make it easier for parents to get their children vitamins that they likely need. Evan Fonder of Nord’s Pharmacy and Gift in Fosston recently joined Access Health to talk about their new program, which is giving free vitamins to kids.
The Free Vitamins for Kids program started about two months ago at Nord’s Pharmacy. Fonder says its very important for growing kids to get proper nutrition, whether through meals or through vitamins.
Fonder says they got the idea from another Pharmacy in the state and thought this would be a great way for them to give back to the community.
Access Health is heard Saturday mornings at 8am on KRJB and KRJM and 8:30 on KKCQ.
