Fertile, MN -- The Fertile City Council held their first meeting of the new year on Monday, January 8th. At the meeting they did their reorganizing and set committee appointments. They also created a new committee to assist with some ongoing tasks with the Fair Meadow Nursing Home, according to Fertile City Administrator Lisa Liden.
The council also had some discussion this week about snow removal. Administrator Liden says they had a few complaints and wanted to remind residents to move their vehicles as needed this winter.
And for those looking to test out the new skating rink, Liden says they’ll have to wait until next winter for the Grand Opening.
Liden also noted that the Fertile Learning Center will be having their annual meeting on Wednesday, January 17th at 7pm at the Learning Center.
