Mahnomen, MN -- The Mahnomen School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday night. During the meeting, the board worked on getting several staff positions filled for the next school year. Mahnomen Superintendent Jeff Bisek says the board approved a handful of hires, but there’s still more to be filled.
Along with filling some vacancies, the school board also approved creating a new position of Technology Integration Coach to help with the growing technology needs in the district, according to Superintendent Bisek.
The Mahnomen School is preparing for the 2nd phase of their Heating, Cooling, and Air Quality Project, which is scheduled for this summer. Bisek says work will begin right away as school lets out on that and other projects.
And the Mahnomen School Board also got an update from the Mahnomen/Waubun Pairing committee, which met following the end of the winter sports season.
The Mahnomen School Board meets on the 2nd Monday of each month.
