Ada, MN -- Over 50 young actors and actresses from the Ada-Borup community have been working hard all week to put together a production of “Peter and Wendy” with help from the Missoula Children’s Theater. Co-directors Morganne Best and Rebecca Martin joined the KRJB Kaleidoscope Program on Thursday to chat about their traveling production. They gave a little background on the Missoula Children’s Theater and their production of “Peter and Wendy.”
Casting began on Monday and the students spend just two hours a day rehearsing on stage before the production is ready for showings here today. Martin and Best say by splitting up the groups and setting high expectations, they are able to accomplish a lot more in just a little bit of time.
Morganne and Rebecca have teamed up on the road all summer long traveling the Midwest. They added that they enjoy getting to interact with the new communities and inspiring the actors.
The Missoula Children’s Theater Production of “Peter and Wendy” will have two performances today at the Ada-Borup High School Auditorium: 2:30pm and 7pm. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for children Kindergarten through 12th grade, and Preschool and younger are free.
