Lake Park, MN -- The Lake Park City Council held their monthly meeting on Monday night, September 10th at Lake Park City Hall. The council approved their preliminary levy with an 8% percent increase with the final number expected to be just slightly less that. Lake Park City Administrator Lonnie Nuener says that may not seem like a lot, but that’s a pretty significant increase over from year’s past.
And if you’ve driven through the heart of Lake Park recently you would have likely noticed a few major construction projects. Administrator Nuener says both the bridge project and Highway 10 stop light project are on schedule.
And Nuener added that the council approved updating some of the electrical infrastructure at this week’s meeting as well.
The Lake Park City Council meets the 2nd Monday of each month.
