By Mark Askelson markkrjb@loretel.net (12/4/18)

Hawley, MN -- REACH, or the Rural Enrichment and Counseling Headquarters in Hawley, is continuing their Spirit of Giving this Holiday season. To help ease the burden during Christmas time, REACH will be providing special food baskets and gifts for those in need in their service area, which includes rural Clay, Becker, and Norman Counties. Stephanie Schenck, the Family Support Coordinator talks more about how REACH gives back during Christmas time.

Cut #N8244

The deadline to sign up for Gifts is this Thursday, but the cutoff to sign up for the Food Baskets has passed. However you still may sign up to be on the waiting list. Schenck says REACH would gladly accept any financial contribution to help support their Spirit of Giving Program. Another way you can help out is to take part in their Holiday Extravaganza on December 15th in Hawley.

Cut #N8245

REACH also provides, counseling services, family support services, career services, and operates an emergency food pantry and weekend food Backpack program for all schools in their service area.
