Bagley School District News

Enrollment is down by approximately 40 students in comparison to last year in the Bagley School District. Superintendent Steve Cairns says while finances are stable, they have tightened the budget.




Bagley Superintendent Steve Cairns is retiring at the end of June after a 20 year history with the district. He was their High School Principal for half that time and has been the Superintendent for 10 years. His won't be the only administrative shoes that need to be filled at Bagley.




A new school board member with administrative experience was sworn in on January 7th.




Bagley school district is going green by recycling about 70 percent of their waste at both the elementary and high school.




A new initiative of Bagley High School Principal Tony Kerr is positive phone calls home to parents from the teachers.




Bagley High School has begun an indigenous lacrosse intramural program which they plan to incorporate into their physical education classes.
