Stevie Ray Bringing "Life or Death Comedy Show" to Top Hat Theatre

Ulen, MN -- Stevie Ray has been involved comedy and improv for more than 30 years, but his latest improv show, The Life and Death Comedy Show, not only talks about a subject that most people aren’t comfortable talking about, but does it in way that will make you keel over with laughter. Death and what happens after isn’t exactly a dinner table conversation for us, but it’s an important conversation nonetheless. The Life and Death Comedy Show, which makes it way to the Top Hat Theater in Ulen this Saturday, February 9th, is an idea brought to Stevie Ray from medical professionals who realized that this touchy, but important dialogue isn’t happening as much as it should be.
Rays adds that the Life and Death Comedy Show isn’t just educational, it’s also hilarious too! He says they don’t try to make fun of death, but rather instead make fun of the fact that Americans don’t like to talk about it.
Ray adds that if this were just a standard educational seminar, they’d have a hard time getting people to attend and that laughter is a great tool for breaking the ice on a challenging topic.
Stevie Ray and his Life and Death Comedy Show will also be performing for the Ulen-Hitterdal School on Friday morning and the Viking Manor Nursing Home on Friday afternoon. You can see his comedy improv show Saturday night at 7:30pm at the Top Hat Theatre in Ulen. Doors open at 6:30. Tickets are available at the door, by calling the Ulen-Hitterdal School, or going online at www.thetophattheatre.com.
