Ada Liquors Grand Opening Celebration is Friday

Ada, MN -- Nearly two years after the Ada City Council approved a motion to exit the bar business and focus solely on off sale, the renovations to the Ada Liquor Store are complete. The reconstruction combined the bar and former on-sale spaces into one larger, brighter, and inviting space where customers will have a greater variety of beer, wine, and spirits to choose from and most likely at lower price. A committee was formed late last summer to oversee the process and members of that committee, Crystal Stene, Hiliary Chisholm, and Stacey Erickson joined the Business Matters Program to discuss this Friday’s Grand Opening celebration. They talked about the highlights and features of new Ada Liquor Store, which has been rebranded as just “Ada Liquors.”
By increasing inventory and varieties, the hope is to encourage community members to buy their beer, wine, and liquor local and potentially draw people into town as well.
The Ada Liquors Grand Opening celebration will take place this Friday from 10am until 10pm. Chisholm encourages people to stop buy and check out the great deals as well as enjoy samples and sign up for prizes.
We’ll be reporting live throughout the day from Ada Liquors on 106.5 KRJB.
