St. Paul, MN -- State Senator Kent Eken and his legislative comrade in the House, Representative Paul Marquart, will once again be spending part of their Easter break traveling up and down District 4 talking with constituents. They will be hosting a series of town hall meetings on Monday, April 15th starting in Halstad at 8am and wrapping up at 7pm in Detroit Lakes. Senator Eken says this a great opportunity for the residents of District 4 to make their voice heard and get an update on what’s happening down in St. Paul.
Senator Eken and Representative Marquart will start the Town Hall meetings in Halstad at the HTC Community Room at 8am and then head to Ada City Hall at 9:30 and the Twin Valley Community Center at 11am. They begin the afternoon at the Hitterdal City Hall at 12:30 followed by a trip the Dilworth City Hall at 2:30. Then they’ll travel to the Barnesville City Hall at 4pm, followed by a visit to the Hawley High School at 5:30, and finish off the day at the La Barista Café in Detroit Lakes.
