Ada, MN -- Over this recent winter, the Norman County EDA teamed up the University of Minnesota Extension for their Making it Home Program to help identify the best attributes of the county, the biggest needs, and how to draw other into our area communities with hopes of them settling down in Norman County. Norman County EDA Chair Kari Kirschbaum talks about the months long process that included all facets of the county.
The community groups identified several strengths of Norman County including recreation, quality of life, education, strong social connections, and safety. But Kirschbaum says they have also identified several areas of improvement as well.
The Norman County EDA will start putting together an Action Plan at their next meeting on Tuesday, May 28th.
