Ada, MN -- A Twin Valley man will serve more than 16 years in prison following a sentencing today in Norman County District Court. 37-year-old Jeremy Mathew Abraham was sentenced to 200 months in prison on felony convictions of First Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct, and two counts of Second Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct.
The charges date back to 2014, when Abraham sexually assaulted a victim under the age of 13 on several occasions, and then again sexually assaulting another victim under the age 16 in March of 2018. Abraham was arrested in April of 2018.
According to Norman County Attorney James Brue, the court denied Abraham’s motion for a departure from the Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines. Abraham is a subject to a lifetime conditional release period and is subject to lifetime registration as a predatory offender.
