Lake Park, MN -- The Brady Oberg Legacy Foundation is one of hundreds of charities and organizations looking for your support during today’s Giving Hearts Day, but by supporting the Brady Oberg Legacy Foundation, you’ll be supporting combat veterans and help raise awareness about PTSD. The Brady Oberg Legacy Foundation was founded in 2015, just a few months after Ulen native and combat veteran Brady Oberg took his own life after battling with PTSD, according to foundation Vice Chair Troy Amundson.
The Brady Oberg Legacy Foundation hosts several events throughout the year, such as Veteran’s retreats, motorcycle rides, and more which Amundson says are geared at raising awareness of PTSD and bringing Veterans together to share in a common bond.
Giving Hearts Day is a very important day for the Brady Oberg Legacy Foundation as much of the money donated today is matched by other organizations such as the Dakota Medical Foundation.
