Fosston School Board Chooses Not To Negotiate Future Contract With Superintendent Kevin Ricke
During their January 10th, 2018 meeting, the Fosston School Board elected not to negotiate a future contract with Superintendent Kevin Ricke. Ricke's contract is up in June. He's been with the district for three years. Ricke commented on the school boards decision when he joined us on Food For Thought Friday morning.
In addition to searching for a Superintendent, the school board is also advertising for the High School Principal position.
Another position the Fosston school district needs to fill is that of Building and Grounds Maintenance Supervisor as Steve Nyhus is retiring after 34 years of service to the district. They are also looking for a long term substitute High School Counselor.
